A Trusted Learning and Development Advisor
This Employee And Industrial Relations Training course provides participants with an understanding of rights and responsibilities in industrial relations. It covers topics such as collective bargaining, job security, redundancy, performance management, grievance and dispute resolution and discrimination laws.
But most times the problem isn’t a lack of understanding of EI and IR. Normally the problem is “implementation”. Your organisation will likely have ER and IR policies and processes in place. So this course is designed to give participants more confidence in the implementation stage.
You will gain insights into the dynamics of industrial relations and how to create a positive work environment. Participants will acquire important communication and negotiation skills, as well as learn to solve disputes without the need for legal action. Through interactive activities, role play and discussion, you will be equipped to handle complex workplace issues, and build strong relationships between employers and employees.
If you look at the end of the word “industrial”, you’ll see the word “Trial”. That’s often the outcome when things go wrong. This training makes sense and saves your organisation from costly court fees and fines.

This tailored ‘Employee and Industrial Relations’ training program will provide participants with the confidence to better manage employee relationship issues. Whether it is dealing with a formal behavioural issue or simply talking with staff about pay and conditions, managers need to be correctly informed.
