A Trusted Learning and Development Advisor
Courses on dealing with challenging situations are in increasing demand. Imagine if you’re the person stuck up the telegraph pole and a group of angry people are shouting at you. What can you do?
Ambulatory staff are trained not to run into a situation. The running adds more heat and chaos. So instead they walk very quickly. But if it’s a child in danger, they throw out that part of their training and run straight in.
Dealing With Challenging Situations in-house workshops are incredibly popular. We can encounter aggression and violence during any particular day. And sometimes the situation at hand is highly emotional for everyone. The most important thing is that you leave a challenging situation safely. Your safety is paramount.
The ‘Dealing with Challenging Situations’ workshop revolves around your responsibilities when facing challenging situations. The course is full of practical strategies. We do a lot of work with emergency services, government, homeless services and parks. This Dealing with Challenging Situations bespoke training course covers how to handle drug and alcohol affected people too.
